Come take hip-hop and contemporary with Niki Kennedy Reed from The Future of Talent Company on August 27th from 5:30-7:30 pm at The Falls in Hudson Venue 158 Union Turnpike, Hudson, NY 12534. With decades of experience in dance instruction Miss Niki is a talented instructor with a diverse background. Miss Niki has danced under the instruction of numerous professional teachers from Manhattan, New York to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. With a Bachelors Degree from SUNY Binghamton in Dance, her dedication to preparing each student for the professional dance world is just as important as her goal to assist in the development of the recreational dancer.

Her choreography has been awarded on the regional and national level throughout the dance competition circuit. You can also see some of her newest choreography on DANCE MOM tv star Chloe Lukasiak's youtube channel, and on the popular OWNZONE media store. ALSO there will be a talent manager at this event scouting potential new talent! Have the opportunity to talk to a talent manager about making it in the entertainment industry. Tara Kennedy trained at The Hartt School Conservatory, under the direction of Peggy Lyman. She then moved to NYC and was accepted into the BFA dance program at Marymount Manhattan College under the direction of Katie Langan. While Tara was at Marymount Manhattan she worked in the student recruitment department for the BA and BFA dance program. Tara was one of the directors of a national award winning team at The Kennedy Performing Arts Centre. In her 8 years as a director, she was recognized both regionally and nationally for her choreography. She has taught and choreographed for numerous schools across the country and most recently Tara’s choreography can be seen featured on “Teen Choice Dancer” and “Dance Mom’s” Star, Chloe Lukasiak’s youtube and social media outlets with her solo “Thick Skin”. Tara created Kennedy Talent Management in 2012. As a manager she has successfully placed numerous kids in top agencies in NYC and LA. KTM kids have been seen in feature films, TV, commercials, and Broadway. Tara and her sister created the successful workshop company Triple Threat Talent Tour which travels the country “Bridging the gap” for todays talented youth. Through this company Tara and her participants have worked with top SYTYCD Choreographers and dancers, Broadway, Film, and TV stars, top NYC and LA casting directors and agents. Tara continues through her ventures to spread her passion for the arts to today’s budding talent! COME AND BE SEEN BY A TALENT MANAGER!

About Us

Liz Schneider

 Ms. Liz is an instructor and owner of the Sternfeld Dance Studio.  Liz teaches Tiny Dancer/tumbling as well as Ballet, Tap technique, and Jazz Fusion.  She began dancing at  3 years old and grew to love dance, especially tap and ballet. She has continued to expand her knowledge through educational classes at the National Dance Education Organization as well as workshop classes with Avi Miller/Ben Ofer, Deborah Wingert, Rhonda Miller, Denise Wall, and Wade Robson.  Liz continues to expand her knowledge of dance at annual Dance Summits.  Along with running the studio, Liz works in Quality Improvement at Camphill Village in Copake and also works as an Independent Contractor assisting individuals with Developmental Disabilities develop individualized budgets and supports for independent living.

Karrie Cox

Ms. Karrie is a dance and acrobatic instructor.  Karrie also is the Junior Competition team's coach.  She teaches and has taught all levels of dance and acrobatics from young beginners to advance dancers and gymnasts.  She began gynmnastics at the age of 8 and dance at the age of 9.  She enjoys dancing and tumbling as one of her main hobbies and passions.

Arlene Walch

 Arlene started her dancing career at the age of 2 and began assisting with classes as a 7th grader. She started teaching her own classes in 10th grade.  Arlene loves studying all types of dance but her primary focus and love is tap. She not only teaches the adult combination class at Sternfeld's, but she currently works as a nurse educator at the local hospital and is adjunct faculty at the local Community College.

Caleb Dean

 Caleb is a 16 year old dancer and teacher choreographer who lives in upstate New York. Caleb has been dancing since the age of 5. Caleb has trained under a few local studios and teachers over the past few years. Caleb has also been a top competitor on the competition circuit for the past 6 years in his amazing dance solos, duets and groups in hip-hop, lyrical, jazz, contemporary and musical theater. He holds many regional dance titles and has won numerous scholarships and awards throughout his competition years. Most recent this year Caleb was awarded with a full scholarship from monsters of hip-hop to train at Los Angeles premier dance studio Millennium.
Caleb has also attended multiple conventions, classes and workshops in New York City, and all over the north east and has trained under choreographers such as Misha Gabriel, Luther Brown, Nappy Tabs, Ian Eastwood, Laura Edwards, Wilda beast, Janelle Ginestra, Sean Lew, Lacey Schwimmer and more well known industry names. Caleb also trained under Jona Biddle and was awarded a prodigy scholarship and has trained under Man in Motion based out of NYC where he has worked on multiple dance video and modeling projects.
Caleb won a full scholarship to Joffrey Ballet School’s hip-hop summer program last year where he trained intensively for three weeks in all styles of hip-hop under industry professionals from LA and NYC. Through this program he had the opportunity to work on a dance video project with “Tynee” Goshow.    Caleb over the past few years has also been both a dance teacher and assistant dance teacher for many recreation and competition level dances. Many of the competition dances Caleb helped choreograph have won top adjudications at competitions and also placed first or top 5 on the regional and national level
